Daniel DOORBAR (1703-1785)

Daniel lived in Biddulph where he married Elizabeth Robinson in 1727. They had six children. Elizabeth died in Biddulph in 1764 and Daniel in 1785.

Richard DOORBAR (1727-1798)

Richard was the eldest child of Daniel and Elizabeth. Nothing is known of his occupation. He married Hannah Boot in Biddulph in 1749 and they had seven children.

Of Richard's siblings, Joshua (b. 1738) married Ann Rowley in Bissulph in 1757 and they had five children.


John DOORBAR (1749-1791)

John was the eldest child of Richard and Hannah. He married Ann Mayor in Horton in 1771 and they had five children. John and Ann died in Horton in 1791 and 1795 respectively.

Nothing is yet known of John's siblings.


Mary DOORBAR (b. 1772)

Mary was the eldest child of John and Ann. In 1792, she married Matthew Boulton in Horton. They had twelve children.

Of Mary's 's siblings, Catherine (b. 1795) married Thomas Willshaw in Leek in 1798. They had twelven children; Hannah (b. 1777) married Richard Bolton in Horton in 1794 and had at least one child; John (b. 1780) was a farmer at Hill Farm, Knypersley, Biddulph where Mary's husband Matthew was living in 1841. John married Mary Boughton in Wolstanton in 1799. They had ten children.
